NOTE ABOUT WELDING: All weld-in kits come with welding instructions to avoid damaging your roof paint. Each bracket is actually brazed in with a low temp welding rod. The bracket and uni-body metal are not heated to merge point. Instead the low temp welding rod is melted. A damp towel is place on the roof during brazing to give extra insurance against roof damage. Welding must be performed by a qualified weldor.

Product Notes: This kit takes about 4 hours to install and can be installed using simple shop tools. Some customers may decide to re-install the headliner. Should you decide to re-install the headliner please note that you will loose the use of your factory dome light. This is due to the fact that the factory sunroof assembly has the mounting bolts attached to it. Due to the nature of this product this won't be a problem for most customers. It is possible to retrofit the factory dome light into the headliner by cutting out a plate made of any rigid material a few inches larger than the headliner light opening. Once this is done you can drill two holes through the plate at points corresponding to the hole locations in the dome light assembly. Nex't run two long bolts through the holes making sure they are long enough to run through the assembly and then use Nylock nuts to make sure these bolts wont turn. Finally, feed the plate through the headliner once its re-installed and sandwich the headliner between the rigid plate that you cut and the factory dome assembly. Now simply install as normal.
